BigSteelBox supports Canadian farmers with secure mobile storage

BigSteelBox Farm Progress Show Booth in ReginaA Giant Toy Box is on display at the country’s largest agricultural trade show, Canada's Farm Progress Show. The 20-foot ocean-shipping container is part of the mobile agriculture storage display by BigSteelBox, Canada’s fastest growing moving and storage company, in the Ag-Ex Pavillion at Evraz Place in Regina from June 19 to June 21.

The bright white over-sized toy box is wind and waterproof, rodent-free, fire-resistant and made of eight-gauge, ISO certified, ship worthy steel.

The BigSteelBox has plenty of room to store a Gio Mini Hummer II ATV, which one lucky winner will take home from the show – thanks to a partnership with G-Man Motorsport, Regina’s exclusive Gio dealership.

“A BigSteelBox provides a simple but secure storage solution for farmers, whether that’s for your quads, tools or farm supplies,” says Corey Kirzinger, Regional Manager for BigSteelBox. “The containers are easily moved on to your property, everything is safe and dry, and any box can be modified by adding in custom shelving and accessories.”

In addition to long-term agricultural storage, the company, which opened its Regina office in March 2012, also provides city-to-city residential moving services. Its sister company BigSteelBox Structures, modifies the steel structures to supply living quarters, offices and mobile laboratories to the oil and gas, mining and forestry industries.

Saskatchewan boasts the highest use of ATVs of all Canadian provinces. The quad machines are used throughout Saskatchewan for transportation in rural areas, recreational use on trails, and for occupational activities on work sites and farms.

“While quads are used on the farm for both labour and recreational use, this is an opportunity to reinforce the message that ATVs are not toys,” says Kirzinger. “Safety is one of the pillar of our company, and we want stress the importance of riding safe, wearing a helmet and taking an approved training course.”

With 17 locations across Canada, BigSteelBox has become the fastest growing moving and storage company in a multi-billion dollar industry with its innovative container-based service. Established in 1999, BigSteelBox has its head office in Kelowna and full service locations across B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.
