Big Plans for the Vernon Art Exhibition in a BigSteelBox!

BSB-Vernon-Art-Gallery_450.jpgCranes were hard at work at the future site of the Vernon Public Art Gallery today in downtown Vernon. A number of BigSteelBox shipping containers will be transformed into an "Art Gallery in a Box".

This collection of BigSteelBoxes will be used as a satellite gallery to host a portion of the upcoming international Okanagan Print Triennial, featuring a selection of works from close to 200 submissions by artists from 35 countries around the world.

"Our business was built around the idea that a BigSteelBox is a better solution for moving and storage; usually it’s household belongings or equipment on a construction site, but this is a great example of a BigSteelBox’s versatility," says president Jason Siebenga. "The Gallery needed a secure temporary solution, and we’re happy to offer our support and help them bring this significant exhibit to the Okanagan.”
