BC Motorcross Riders Head to National Championships with a Little Help from BigSteelBox
Riders from across Canada and the US will gather to do battle on the grounds of Walton Raceway in the 22nd Annual Parts Canada TransCan National Motocross Championship in Walton, ON, from August 14-18. Four of BC’s finest amateur motocross riders will race as Team BC.
The team includes Julian Beneck of Maple Ridge (age 8), Jacob Piccolo of Abbotsford (age 10), Casey Keast of Kelowna (age 14), and Wyatt Waddell of Ladner (age 16).
BigSteelBox is happy to help Team BC with their trek to Ontario. The riders will have their bikes and gear shipped across the country in a BigSteelBox.
The BC racers will have their gear loaded into a BigSteelBox at the Abbotsford location and shipped to the BigSteelBox Kitchener store, where it will then be trucked out to the raceway in Walton.
“To our knowledge, this is the first time a team of riders has been put together to compete in this most prestigious event,” says Dan Piccolo, team organizer. “BC has long been a hot bed of budding motocross talent, this year we have it in spades.”
“The Walton TransCan Grand National is a weeklong festival of fun and excitement,” said Chris Lee, owner of Walton Raceway. “This annual celebration of motocross brings over a 1,000 riders and their families across borders and across the country to compete for Canada’s most prestigious motocross awards event.”
Good luck Team BC!!
