Located on the Trans Canada Highway near Canoe, BC, this location provides local and long distance moving services, and portable storage container rentals and sales to residential, construction and commercial customers.
Our portable storage units are weather and rodent-proof, so your things will stay safe and dry inside. Our mini storage units range from 8’x8′ to 25’x8′ in size and offer level-entry and lock boxes for added security.

The shipping container world for purchase or rent can be very shady. I made a number of inquiries and between outright criminals posing as shipping container companies and other companies that are not service oriented in the least, I was sceptical at best by the time I got to call Big Steel Box. What a terrific surprise!!! The salesman was courteous, efficient, extremely helpful and I was able to arrange the container in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. The drivers were so good, Brad on the Surrey side dropped and picked up and he is fantastic, accommodating and just all around good dude! The 2 fellows on my new home end up in Salmon Arm also did not disappoint, very courteous and professional. Helpful and loaded exactly where and how I needed. I also talked to a lady in the office on the Salmon Arm side and she too was fantastic!! This company is run very well and I highly recommend them! I would not hesitate to use them again. They are the only number I'd reach for. I'm shocked at how good they are, rare to see such a good company all around! Top marks!!
The best customer service from both the staff at Big Steel Box and the delivery companies they used. We had a large move and used 3 containers all with different time lines. The customer service through the whole experience was excellent. I highly recommend Big Steel Box, you won’t be disappointed.
