Supporting the Nanaimo Community
Thanks to BigSteelBox, we're able to safely store the donations we receive.
“At Mamas for Mamas, we work hard to make sure our families are taken care of and we could not to this with the help of our community. Thanks to BigSteelBox, we are able to store necessary donations that we receive such as diapers, clothing and car seats, then redistribute them to families that need them the most.
We could never do what we do without the help of our community and are extremely grateful to have partners such as BigSteelBox to ensure that no mama, or family is ever left behind.”

We rented a box for 1 month for our recent move.... this is the way to go!!! We got it delivered at the beginning of the month, had two weeks to load it all up, on moving day they came and picked it up and delivered it to our new house and then we had until the end of the month to unload it. It took off SO much stress from the move! Communication was great!! All drivers were fantastic!! They worked to make sure it was in both drive ways so that it was the easiest to get to. Fantastic experience!! Cost was very comparable to having a moving truck for 3 days. Definitely would use again and will recommend!
Used Bigsteelbox for a move from Calgary to Nanaimo. Price was $1000 less than their nearest competitor, and the container was significantly larger. They dropped the container when they said they would, picked it up when they said they would, and had it in my new city sooner than quoted. Excellent communication every step of the way. The unit arrived very clean, and while we encountered a rain/hail storm when packing it, not a drop of water came inside, so I have no doubts about the weatherproofness. 5 star service! I highly recommend spending the extra on this service vs a U-Haul
We needed a storage space for several months while completing a home renovation. Office staff and drivers were professional, friendly & efficient. We would highly recommend Big Box Steel for storage solutions.
