May 28, 2015 – KELOWNA, B.C. BigSteelBox and the Kelowna Community Food Bank would like to thank the people of Kelowna for donating 3,000 pounds of food, and more than $800 that BigSteelBox will also be matching in a corporate donation during its “Fill the BigSteelBox” food drive last weekend. BigSteelBox, known for its moving and storage containers, placed one of its Boxes at Kelowna’s Walmart parking to encourage people fill it with food donations.

March 19, 2015 – OKANAGAN VALLEY - Vernon Public Art Gallery opened the doors today to the Okanagan Valley’s first art gallery in a box. The shiny bright white steel shipping containers are courtesy of BigSteelBox, Canada’s leader in mobile storage solutions headquartered in Kelowna.
The Vernon Public Art Gallery is making a mark in the art world, displaying a selection of works juried from upwards of 200 international artists from 35 countries.

There’s been a lot of buzz about the innovative way the Vernon Public Art Gallery is using our BigSteelBoxes. They recently began the assembly of an "Art Gallery in a Box" using a number of shipping containers.
This collection of BigSteelBoxes will be used as a satellite gallery to host a portion of the upcoming international Okanagan Print Triennial, featuring a selection of works from close to 200 submissions by artists from 35 countries around the world.

The mammoth structure took weeks to engineer and will stand approximately 52 feet high.

Top riders from across Canada will return to Chilliwack for two days of action as the Kawasaki Canadian Arenacross Championships kicks off November 8 and 9. For many young riders, participation in the championships has been made possible with support from premium sponsor Kelowna’s own BigSteelBox, who joins the new title sponsor Kawasaki in supporting the growing sport.

Center of Gravity, Canada’s Hottest Beach Festival, will take over City Park in Kelowna, BC, from August 2-4, 2013, and BigSteelBox is happy to sponsor this event again this year.
BigSteelBoxes will be scattered throughout the site, specifically the Dirt, Water and Urban Zones. In the Dirt Zone, Boxes will be used to construct the ramps and jumps that FMX and Freestyle Mountain Bikers will use to defy the laws of gravity.
